At Reagan Ranch

Newsmax continues its acclaimed series of town hall meetings on Tuesday with an engaging sit-down with South Dakota Gov. Kristi Noem.

Kristi Noem joins Newsmax's Rob Schmitt from the Reagan Ranch in historic Santa Barbara, California, for a meet-up with Americans concerned about the future of the nation.

In Part II of Newsmax's special with Kristi Noem, she joins Rob Schmitt for the walk-and-talk at Rancho del Cielo, Ronald Reagan's historic 688-acre ranch, located in the Santa Ynez Mountain Range.

Noem, considered a rising star in the Republican Party, is a staunch ally of former President Donald Trump.

She made international news last year by refusing to follow the advice of federal medical experts who called for draconian lockdowns and limiting large gatherings.

Her conservative record includes staunch opposition to the Affordable Care Act and strong support for the pro-life cause, including support of the Susan B. Anthony List.

In addition, Noem signed into law a bill abolishing the permit requirement to carry a concealed handgun.

And she claimed there was widespread voter fraud in the 2020 presidential election in which Trump lost to Biden.

Among the topics she discusses with Rob Schmitt are the pandemic, the economy, the Biden administration's disastrous pullout of troops from Afghanistan, and the upcoming midterm elections and 2024 presidential election.

Other town hall events presented by Newsmax have included such luminaries as Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis, Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders, and former Texas Rep. Beto O'Rourke.
